Posture Practice

Watch me balance these two rings on my head. Amazing!

We are going to take a short break this week from talking about Colin to share some exciting information about Kristin. Kristin commutes over an hour each day to Philly and leaves at 6 am each morning or else that hour might be closer to 2. She is working 3 days a week but it is pretty tough on those days. There is a small office in Wilmington that had a position open up. Kristin applied just this week and got the job! Her commute will be much, much shorter, but she will be working 5 days a week. It will take some adjustments, but we think this move is for the best.

Greg and Lena

As Colin's fame builds, fans of the blog are coming from all over to see the man in action. Greg and Lena came down from Boston just to see Colin yesterday. Maybe that was not the only reason, but that is what we told him. We like him to feel special. It was a gorgeous Spring day with the high above 80!
Colin also went on a swing for the first time, but we forgot the camera. Next time we will get a pic on the blog.

Kids on the Couch

This past weekend we went down to DC because Kristin's friend, Lisa, was in town for a visit before she and AJ head off to live in Germany. We had a great time hanging out at Aunt Alison's and Uncle Dan's place. Here are all the kids kind of still for a second to take a picture. The secret? This was at 10 pm after the kids had been playing for several hours. From left to right we have AJ, Colin, Gavin and Keira.

Lisa and AJ, haben ein guten Time in Dutschland!

Sitting Up and Tax Time

Colin may not have much interest in rolling over, but he is really getting the hang of sitting up. We think our boy is a little stubborn and sitting up is something that he is interested in doing. The papers on the floor are part of the tax preparation. We thought it might be funny to put all of the tax papers around Colin, but then the IRS might not appreciate the drool. Kristin has been working very hard to pull the taxes together, which Colin and I appreciate immensely.

When I comment that not doing taxes is one perk of marrying an accountant, I am told repeatedly that Kristin is not a tax accountant. Thanks to our accountant, but not tax accountant, for finishing the taxes this weekend!
