Snowmaggedon

Over a period of 5 days we have experienced more snow than Colin has seen in his entire life. We have already smashed the all time record for snow in this part of the country by 5 inches. We have had close to 40" of snow in these last two storms. There was a State of Emergency in DE today and my work was closed for the last 2 days. We were just grateful that we had power because we know of several people that were without power for up to 24 hours during the storm.

Colin enjoyed our walk today. He did the little dive into the snow below several times. The first was an accident. Then it was a fun little game (until his nose went into the snow).

It is back to work tomorrow. Fortunately there is no snow in the forecast until at least Monday.

Big Boy Bed

Colin is proud to report that he has left his crib and moved into a Big Boy Bed! The transition went very smoothly and he seems quite happy with his new bed. We went with a safari animal motif with lions on his sheets. He still fights the falling to sleep part, but it is no trouble getting him into bed.

It looks like we will be trapped inside for most of the weekend. The snow is moving in.
